Friendly Kitchen is now closed for an indefinite time. If you
would like to be notified when we re-open, please send your

Friendly Kitchen is available
for rent on an hourly basis, and we're committed to offering the
lowest hourly rates possible. If you're interested in reserving
time in the kitchen, we can work with you to schedule time for anywhere
from a one-time use the next day, to regular, recurring time slots
for an entire month.
The kitchen is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a first-come,
first-serve basis.

needs.
You may be wondering what it
is that you will get from us by using our kitchen.
Below you will find a list of all the things that you would have
to worry about if you had your own kitchen:
Operational:
- Space rental
- Electricity
- Gas bill
- Hot water tank rental
- Water/sewer
- Security alarm monitoring
- Telephone
- Janitorial supplies
- Cleaning supplies
- Maintenance of the kitchen
- Maintenance of the equipment (including refrigeration: Freon charges,
etc.)
- Shoveling the snow
- Taking out the recycling containers
- Taking out the garbage
- Cleaning the washroom
- Liquid soap and paper towels for the hand-washing sink
- Twice-yearly testing of the hood extinguisher system
- License fee to run a catering kitchen
- Having on-going approval from Toronto Public Health
- Pest control program
